OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus Nord and the OnePlus 8-series. Pete Lau (CEO of OnePlus) posted on 8th September that the 8T will be launch on October 14th (just one week to go) at 10:00 EDT / 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST / 19:30 IST on https://oneplus.com/launch. We've listed below device specs.

Firstly, we earlier covered the OnePlus 8T wallpapers, and noticed that the wallpapers have a size of 1080*2400, which hints at the device being of that resolution.

Secondly, as spotted originally by an Oxygen Updater contributor wishing to remain anonymous in 8-series Android 11 Developer Preview 1 (and since then confirmed officially by OnePlus), device will feature 65W Warp Charge. Charger should also support 45W USB-C Power Delivery, which is an improvement as previous devices (including the 8 Pro) only supported 15W USB-C PD. Battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and should be fully charged after 39 minutes and charged at 58% after 15 minutes.

According to OnePlus, OnePlus 8T display will support a refresh rate of 120Hz along with a sampling rate up to 240Hz and reduced latency. That display should be an AMOLED one, just like previous OnePlus' devices. Speaking of which, it should be flat as we found out earlier in Android 11 Developer Preview 4 for 8-series.

CPU is a Snapdragon 865 Plus according to XDA-Developers, which is not a surprise as it follows a pattern introduced last year with 7T-series getting a Snapdragon 855 Plus while 7-series have a Snapdragon 855.

Android Central claims device will have 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage, but recent benchmark on Geekbench make us believe there will be another variant with 12GB of RAM as the Build ID (200916) matches with the version number of Wallpaper Ressources APK we previously mentioned (2.0.1.200916023912.182b9b6). We think there may also a variant with 256GB of storage, as it wouldn't make much sense for a T edition to offer less storage than normal 8-series.

Regarding the camera, Android Central claimed the OnePlus 8T will feature four on the back: a 48MP primary lens with OIS (optical image stabilization) support, a 16MP wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP portrait one. XDA-Developers believes Sony's IMX689 will power them since this sensor was previously used in OnePlus 8 Pro.

Lastly, a listing on Amazon Germany revealed it will be available in both Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver colours.

Regarding the software, it will come with OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box, making it one of the first smartphones to ship with the latest available version of Android.

We expect that it will become an Android Enterprise Recommended device (and therefore will frequently receive security patches), since 8-series and Nord are in the AER program as well.
