Indian and global builds are already available in app, OnePlus' community consultant David Monteiro claims EU OB merged with global one.

UPDATE 2021-01-22 05:00 IST: They have corrected the 7T-series EU links in the forum post, and we added ZIPs in the app as well. Note that EU & global links are the exact same because this time they seem to be the same build (in previous OB releases EU & global were different). The original article is preserved below.

Folks, today is a great day for 7 and 7T-series owners: only 15 days after OxygenOS 11 came to the OnePlus Nord as an Open Beta form, latest and greatest version of Android is now available for both devices.

They however made a big mistake in 7T-series forum post, which is why we're taking the liberty of sending notifications for this news article to all devices having app installed. We apologize if you're disturbed by this, but we feel it is important to share to our userbase OnePlus' huge mistakes.

Specifically, the links they published leaded to several data wipes, as well as user confusion. This eventually got officially acknowledged by OnePlus' community consultant David Monteiro, but it was unfortunately too late. Fortunately, as we found out later thanks to community member YRJ , files delivered by OTA for those that were on previous Open Beta do not lead to data loss. The same files are the ones linked in the app, hence no need to worry.

We originally had a bad feeling about data being wiped when we noticed ZIPs filenames containing _wipe_ string and metadata properties containing ota-wipe=yes string, and this got confirmed by community member gotenksIN at same time as forum complains went live.

It is worth noting that albeit not mentioned in official changelog, security patch level is bumped to December 2020, which is great as previous Open Beta build had October 2020 ones.

Please note this is a beta build, thus issues are to be expected. We do not advise flashing it if you're not an experimented user ready to report bugs back to OnePlus via their Community app or their forum. Do not send us emails if you're running into issues other than being unable to flash build, as we wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Note also that for now 7T-series EU devices will still see in app last Android 10 beta, as we're not trusting OnePlus when they claim EU and global builds have been merged due to their past problems history. We will wait until build get added to support website for self-service and edit this article. See below list of known issues.

Potential risks of increased power consumption and instability.

In some conditions, the Gallery app might be slower to load and some pictures may not be displayed in the Gallery.

The devices (earphones, speaker,s etc.) connected through Bluetooth may not be able to play sound occasionally.

Brightness adjustment may lag in some conditions.

As a reminder, this build is only for non-carrier variants of the OnePlus 7 and 7T-series. You should make sure your device is charged to at least 30% prior operation and have at least 3 Gb of storage available. Lastly, we recommend backing up your data before flashing it as a good habit, by using Google Drive backup or OnePlus Switch.

Should you wish to rollback your device to Android 10, below are ZIPs to the last Android 10 beta OnePlus shared on the forum post. Mind flashing them will lead to data wipe, thus take backup previously. You will also need to do that twice, as "in the first installation, it deletes a few system apps, so you must follow these steps twice to install it a second time".
7T-series users, please note that the rollback build for EU build provided by OnePlus is the same as global one, while normal update files on support website are different following regions. We find this confusing.

OnePlus 7 OB 19: click here
OnePlus 7 Pro OB 19: click here
OnePlus 7T Indian OB 9: click here
OnePlus 7T Global OB 9: click here
OnePlus 7T Pro Indian OB 9: click here
OnePlus 7 Pro Global OB 9: click here

Should you not see the files available in "Local Update" tab, check if their extension is .zip, as sometimes OnePlus' servers make them ending in .jar.

To conclude, don't hesitate to share your thoughts about this build with other community members in our Discord server or in /r/oneplus one.
