OnePlus started as a company in December 2014, producing and selling phones. Later, accessories, bags and TVs were added to their product range. Since a few months, the rumour arose that OnePlus is working on a OnePlus Watch. We personally think this is another product of OnePlus and it is not the same as the OnePlus Band that we are talking about in this article. One of the reasons is because Pete Lau talks about a watch; not a band or fitness tracker. Also because Android Central talks about "another wearable in the works".
Ishan Agarwal, a Twitter user with a good track record, recently Tweeted that the OnePlus band will be launching on the 11th of January. According to him, it'll feature the following specifications:
- 24/7 Heart Rate + SpO2 Blood Saturation Monitoring
- Sleep Tracking
- 1.1" Touch AMOLED Display
- 14 Days Battery
- 13 Exercise Modes
The rumoured price is 2,499 Indian Rupees, which is equivalent to 28 EUR / 34 USD / 25 GBP. However, Ishan says that the OnePlus Band will be launched in India only as of now. It is unknown if the Band will come to other countries as well.
