OxygenOS 5.0 is now available&nbsp;for the OnePlus 3.
It contains the latest and greatest in terms of android versions: Android 8.0 "Oreo". It also has some&nbsp;other cool&nbsp;new features, such as a new Quick Settings design,&nbsp;and offers&nbsp;updated security patches for your device.

A&nbsp;really&nbsp;cool feature worth mentioning is "Parallell Apps". Parallell apps allows you to have multiple instances of the same app. This is handy for social (network) apps, such as WhatsApp and Facebook. You can now have both your work and personal&nbsp;account on one phone.
Note for users&nbsp;with a rooted device / custom recovery:
Please note, that automatic update installation using Oxygen Updater might fail, as TWRP recovery&nbsp;currently has some issues on&nbsp;Android 8.0 "Oreo".&nbsp;Be prepared to install the update manually or using the stock recovery mode.&nbsp;

Het biedt een upgrade naar de nieuwste Android-versie, "Oreo". Daarnaast bevat het nog een aantal leuke nieuwe features, zoals Parallell apps, Picture-in-Picture, automatisch invullen van formulieren en een nieuw ontwerp voor het bedieningspaneel (schakelaars voor Wifi, bluetooth, helderheid etc.)

Parallell apps biedt je de mogelijkheid om 2 instanties van dezelfde app te draaien, zodat je bijvoorbeeld een priv&eacute; en werkaccount van WhatsApp op 1 telefoon kunt gebruiken.

Voor gebruikers met root / custom recovery:
Het is mogelijk dat de automatische update-installatie in Oxygen Updater niet werkt, omdat&nbsp;er problemen zijn met TWRP recovery in combinatie met Android 8.0 "Oreo". Het zou dus zomaar kunnen, dat je de update handmatig of via de standaard recovery-modus moet installeren.
