Today, on the 6th of October, OnePlus officially announced the OnePlus Pad Go in India. Since last month, we already got to know its specs and and renders. As we expected it has a 11.35" 90Hz display with a resolution of 2408 x 1720. The brightness isn't anything to write home about: typically 400 nits. It also has up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The SoC is a MediaTek Helio G99. As for the battery, it's a 8000mAh one that can be charged at 33W. The rear camera is an 8MP one that only supports 1080p video at 30fps. It does have EIS though. The front camera is also an 8MP one, that can record videos at 1080p 30fps as well. The tablet runs OxygenOS 13.2 out-of-the-box and that's the first OnePlus device to launch with OxygenOS 13.2 while OxygenOS 14 is around the corner.

Because there are two model numbers known (OPD2304 and OPD2305), it's expected that this device will also launch in the US apart from India, as OnePlus filed a trademark in the US for this name too.

Yogesh Brar previously leaked that the unveiling of the OnePlus Pad Go is scheduled for January 2023. Since then, teasers and renders of the forthcoming tablet have been released by OnePlus. The company also posted multiple tweets, featuring a sketch of the OnePlus Pad Go and an image of the unreleased tablet. The latter reveals that it bears striking similarities to the OnePlus Pad, sporting a single rear camera and relatively slim borders on the front. The back panel also incorporates two colour tints, as opposed to just a single one. It's difficult to see, but the renders also show volume rockers, a fingerprint scanner and a few other buttons.

During an interview with Kinder Liu, COO of OnePlus, an employee revealed some important information about the new OnePlus Pad Go. Liu disclosed that the device will boast a 2.4K (2800 x 2000) LCD display, which has the ability to run at 120Hz and has a 7:5 aspect ratio. The OnePlus representative described the tablet as a "mid-tier entertainment tablet" that offers an "outstanding visual quality without breaking the bank." Dolby Atmos is included for the audio and the device has received TÜV Rheinland's certification for eye care.

The OnePlus Pad Go will feature "Content Sync" which enables OnePlus devices to synchronise data, including the clipboard and media. The sharing of media requires only a simple drag-and-drop gesture, and the added advantage is that no account is necessary, unlike on Apple's iCloud ecosystem. In addition, OnePlus is committed to natively sharing hotspots between devices, synced notifications, and screen mirroring. Calls across devices are included in this software toolkit.

Additionally, Liu states: "We are committed to the ongoing development and expansion of both these product lines to effectively cater to the diverse needs of our ever-expanding consumer base in the near future". OnePlus places particular emphasis on "cross-device integration." These cross-device integrations will also be available in other categories such as smartwatches. The device will ultimately launch with OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13.

Yogesh Brar, a trustworthy source, has shared information about upcoming OnePlus products with MySmartPrice. As per Brar, OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Pad Go (with model numbers OPD2304 and OPD2305), which implies a cheaper version of the regular OnePlus Pad. Additionally, the announcement of new earbuds whose name remains unknown is expected. The launch of these devices will be along with the release of the OnePlus 12 and 12R, and the global launch is scheduled for January 2024.
