It has already been almost 3 years ago since OnePlus launched its first smartwatch. This smartwatch wasn't really a success, mainly because it lacked features, its app was buggy and it ran its own operating system instead of WearOS. Now, OnePlus is going to release its second generation smartwatch. MySmartPrice already obtained some specifications and 5K renders of the OnePlus Watch 2 from OnLeaks.

On the renders we can see its circular shape and it seems to be made from metal. There are buttons on the side, too. The straps are made from rubber and it comes in both black and white colours. However, do note that these renders date back from November 2023, so they may look slightly different at the launch on 26 February. But, OnePlus themselves also showed renders of the new watch on their website and in a forumpost including all launch information.

As for the specifications, OnLeaks and MySmartPrice claim the new smartwatch will pack a 1.43" AMOLED display and will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 under the hood. It's rumoured to come with health sensors as well. This time around, it runs WearOS 4 of Google.

Someone on Twitter also posted a picture with prices at the presentation of the OnePlus Watch 2. From the image we can safely assume it will be available in the US, UK, Europe and India.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is launching on February 26 at 4PM CET.
