OnePlus has announced the all-new OnePlus 7 series!

This time, 2 brand new devices were revealed: The OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro.

What's new?

OnePlus has put most of its efforts on the OnePlus 7 Pro, whilst the "regular" 7 gets some new features as well.

The main improvement of the new 7 Pro is its notchless screen. It covers almost the complete front and has rounded edges. To achieve this, the selfie camera slides out of the top when it gets used. Speaking of the camera, the 7 Pro features 3 cameras on the back: A regular camera, a ultra-wide camera and a telephoto camera.

Also, the OnePlus 7 Pro will soon come in a special 5G edition. This allows even faster network connectivity, but is dependent on regional network availability.

Finally, it's good to know that both the 7 Pro and the regular 7 have the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset. This chip is again a bit faster than the 845 of the 6T.

Software

In terms of software, the 7 series runs OxygenOS 9.5.x. This is based on Android Pie (9.0) and features all the usual goodies from OnePlus. The OnePlus 7 Pro will be supported in Oxygen Updater soon. Stay tuned!
