Disclaimer: At the time of writing this post, only update files for OnePlus 7T Pro (India) are available. If you're using a OnePlus 7T Pro (EU) or international version, we request you to sign up as a contributor (in the app's settings). This will help other users receive the update faster.

Additionally, we currently don't have the latest update file (10.0.4) for OnePlus 7T (international). Only 10.0.3 is available. We humbly request users who already have the latest updates for OnePlus 7T (international) to sign up as a contributor to help other users receive updates faster.

Hi folks,

The OnePlus 7T series is now supported in Oxygen Updater!

The app supports all unlocked models. These are all devices, except Chinese devices (they run HydrogenOS) and devices bought from T-Mobile in the USA (these are locked down and you cannot install updates yourself on them).

Devices sold in Europe and India require an update of Oxygen Updater, to at least version 3.5.0. International devices are also supported on the previous versions of the app.

It took us longer than usual to add support for the 7T-series because OnePlus made quite a few changes this year, and none of them made it immediately obvious about device software compatibility. As some of you might know, this year, OnePlus announced India-specific features for the 7T-series. This means there are now 3 variants the app needs to track: EU, International, and Indian. Normally this isn't too big of an issue, since each variant has its own separate code.

This time, however, the international and Indian variants have the exact same device codes, but different softwares. This confused everyone part of the OnePlus developer community. They didn't even link the Indian software on OnePlus India support website. Sometimes it would redirect to the international version, and sometimes it would display the European version.

See this image gallery for proof and examples of what we mean.

We've finally found a difference between international and Indian variants that we can reliably use to deliver update data to you. We always ensure our users never suffer, so we constantly test and verify each update, to make sure that our users get the correct update for their device and their region.

Thanks to users that opted in already in app we are able to provide you latest OxygenOS available for your device. Don't hesitate to opt-in as well as the current amount of devices opted in is a bit low compared to previous OnePlus devices! This also means that updates will hit your device slower through Oxygen Updater, because we need the filename to be able to get the link from OnePlus FOTA servers.

Below are the statistics as of October 2019. Please note that opt-outs at a later stage are not removed from these, so the actual amount of user will be slightly lower:

Stats powered by Google Analytics. Timespan: From feature launch to October 23th, 2019.

We can learn a lot from these figures: OnePlus 7 Pro seems to be the most popular device  (counting all its variants), followed closely by OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 7, in comparison, doesn't do as well as its bigger "Pro" brother.

There are a whopping 129407 users who've opted in to contribute. Huge thanks to them, for helping us and helping the community.

Thanks to XDA Portal , Tweakers.net and users for providing build.props that were required to clearly identify the different software versions of the devices

Happy updating!
