OnePlus 12R will launch in NA & EU as well, apart from India

As part of their 10 year anniversary, OnePlus hosted a fireside chat recently, where they confirmed that the 12R will not just launch in India, but North America and Europe as well. This is a first for any R-series phone, as all of them so far — 9R, 9RT, 10R, 11R — launched only in India. They're usually rebranded versions of the Ace-series phones sold only in China (10R => Ace, 11R => Ace 2).

Quoting OnePlus president Kinder Liu (via Android Authority):

In addition to India, this time we will launch the OnePlus 12R in North America, Europe, and other parts of the world as well

OnePlus 12 is set to be unveiled on 23rd January 2024, and the 12R should debut alongside that. R-series devices sit between flagships and the Nord series. As such, you can expect its specs to be cut down when compared to OnePlus 12.
