OnePlus Pad 2 static wallpapers are now available

OnePlus Pad was the company's first-ever tablet, which launched last year alongside OnePlus 11, 11R, and Buds Pro 2 (earbuds). Later that year they also launched a budget version, the Pad Go, only in India. A successor was always expected, as in the world of technology there always must be a sequel. Max Jambor, a prominent leaker, suggested that the OnePlus Pad 2 will launch in the second half of 2024.

The tablet is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is a huge step up when compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 that the original OnePlus Pad had under-the-hood. There's not much else known about the device yet, but we'll prepare an article when more information surfaces.

Until then, a Telegram channel "PUI The Newsroom" posted static wallpapers supposedly extracted from Pad 2's out-of-the-box firmware:

This also gives us insight into potential colourways — gold, black, and green. You can download OnePlus Pad 2's wallpapers from Google Drive in their original resolution, if you'd like to apply them to your device.
